We couldn't find the right house plan on the internet so I set out to design my own house on graph paper. I took the rough plans to a "part time" draftsman recommended by our builder. My plans were very rough and still needing much design advice. After our first meeting, I went home with what I considered my "rough draft" but when I tried to contact the "part time" draftsman to make changes over the next weeks he was unavailable and off to other projects. Thank God I met Nick at the Home Show in Lincoln. On my first visit, Nick sat patiently with me and worked through all my changes. When I came to Nick I was totally stressed out about our house plan and needed help redrawing several trouble spots. He offered some great suggestions in several areas and helped me bring the plan to completion. I also appreciated his patience as I changed my mind about a hundred times on aspects of the exterior. Nick just remained steady and calm at all times and implemented all my changes. I live in Seward so I loved that he was able to email the changes back and forth as we made them. He was also very prompt at returning my phone calls and emails and even as I changed my mind frequently, he never made me feel uncomfortable. He asked great questions to be sure he clearly understood what I was saying. His rates are fair and well worth it when you consider the cost involved in building a new home. I only wish I would have met him sooner!! I highly recommend "The Plan Man" for your drafting needs!
